HR MI & Reporting Manager

The HR Reporting Manager is responsible for leading the HR Reporting, MI & Insights team and will work with the HR Projects team helping to design and test changes to capture data and reporting, ensuring that the HR teams, HR Managers, operational managers and leaders have access to the data, reports and dashboards they need, providing insights to enable effective decision making

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the HR Reporting team, managing the quality of our people data and the continuous development of our people reporting and analytics to ensure that relevant management information, insights and trends are identified and available to key stakeholders
  • Cultivate strong relationships with HRLT, HRMs and key business stakeholders that enable the successful development and delivery of people reports, dashboards and analytics ensuring a good understanding of their business objectives
  • Provide data insights into people metrics to help forecasting, business planning and the development of forward-thinking people strategies
  • Deliver ad-hoc and in-depth analysis to provide insights to help shape HR Policies, strategy and business initiatives
  • Monitor the workload of team ensuring all SLAs are met or exceeded
  • Identify process improvement initiatives and define standards for new processes
  • Take full ownership for the quality of our people data, understanding and reconcile gaps, overlaps and apparent contradictions among and within reports and reporting tools and ensure documentation is maintained detailing reporting processes
  • Responsible for the secure handling of all colleague data and that it is managed in line with internal policies and complies with GDPR
  • Be accountable for ongoing management of effective customer relationships within the business, and the main point of contact for escalations on data issues

Experience, Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience of leading a HR Reporting and MI function
  • Excellent database reporting skills with strong Excel knowledge. VBA and Power Query preferable although not essential
  • Experience of developing reports and dashboards with an HRIS platform providing useful insights
  • Knowledge of data integrity and quality management
  • Ability to analyse/interpret data and take appropriate action
  • Highly numerate and confident manipulating and analysing large amounts of numerical data
  • Strong customer service and able to follow through to resolve outstanding issues
  • Ability to coach and manage/mentor the team
  • Highly organised, detail orientated and able to prioritise effectively, work under pressure with problem solving skills
  • Able to establish trust based respectful valued relationships with key stakeholders
