Role and responsibility

The role is a varied one that covers a wide range of reward initiatives. As part of the wider team of professional Reward Leads the role holder also is collectively responsible for several other accountabilities including:

  • To support the development and delivery of the Total Reward and Recognition Strategy adding value at all stages through research, design, delivery and governance of our total reward frameworks.
  • To create opportunities to build greater awareness across the business in relation to the Total Reward offering.
  • To work with leaders to ensure fairness in the day-to-day application & management of all the businesses reward practices.
  • To align to the People Business Partners and their Senior Leader stakeholders to deliver their people agenda with a specific focus on how Reward & Governance can add value.
  • To support changes in business organisation design through the application of robust role grading and role bench marking processes.
  • To monitor and review the ongoing performance of reward policies/procedures and processes in the business and strive for continuous improvement.
  • To make use of available reward and benefit data to provide insights into the effectiveness of our Reward strategies both in design and implementation for the business, Leaders, and our broader colleagues.
